Sorry for the thread hijack; it was mostly likely a bad example.
I guess it was inevitable to head down a "controversial" road.


I initially used a photo of a girl looking down the barrel of a pistol and changed it due my "second thought" before I submitted. I guess a "Third thought" would have been appropriate...

There is a LOT of misinformation out there.
The brake away cable for a parking brake is just one but it comes
up pretty often.
The OP said someone at their dealer said to pull it for parking

I stand by the tag on the cable for new trailers idea.

Our gooseneck tire trailers came with this plastic tag on the breakaway switch.

I do agree with you that it would help if they all had it, just like making sure every new owner of a 30 amp RV also had a printout of how to wire a 30 amp outlet at home too.
