Thanks to all that replied. We appreciate all the positive feedback. We actually are going this weekend to the dealer to finalize our purchase. Hoping all goes well as to this being a big purchase(just like a house).

Whats needed?

Yesterday we signed all our paperwork for our new 8311ss TT. The faimly is real excited about it and we cant wait till april comes to bring it home. The dealer that we bought it from also owns a campground on the facility and as part of our purchase of our new TT they offer a 2 night stay with full hookup at no charge. But here is my question. What items should i bring that would be of the most important in having for our first time use?
What im trying to get at is that I dont want to show up with nothing and all of a sudden i get the dealer selling me a buch of needed things at a steeper price when i could of have gotten them before and save some money.
So far i already know i need to get a good towing setup so i can tow it home plus tools to put it together and interior supplys that we need for sleeping. I'm not worried about food as there are stores to go to in town. Im just trying to get a good list of PRIORITY items needed as to this will be our first trip with it. Our dealer is 2 1\2 hours from our home and i want to make sure that i have a good list before we go to avoid running back for anything. Any help is greatly apreciated

Congrats , we just got our 8311ss in December, we love it! We have two boys and they love the bunk room. We had a hybrid trailer before so it's like moving up to the big time for us. We went all out with the diamond package, we love the full body paint and darker color.

Well get all your bathroom supplies, the tabs or liquid for the black tank, make sure you have enough sewer hose, coax cable for cable hook up, we forgot a few pots an pans because we got rid of the old ones when we cleaned out our old camper. Outside garbage can, wheel chocks, leveling blocks,
And your right get a nice load distributor / sway control hitch.

May want to check with your dealer about what they provide with the TT.
Ours came with a kit that included sewer hose, water hose, water regulator, winterizing hose for water pump, and toilet additive. They too have an RV campground and had the 5th wheel totally set up in the park, slides out, AC on, water hooked up, sewer lines hooked up. My inspection was conducted at the Rv park.

I will definetly check with my dealer to see if it comes with it. Question though, what would be some of the KEY items to look for during the inspection besides the obvious?

Act like you are sending a kid into a dorm room for college. We had to get pots, pans, dishes, sheets, pillows towels, everything. Then camp near a Wal Mart if you can.

They have beer too!
