The video port the composite plug is presently in is one of the color stream, (HD- y, b, g ) ports. All three are necessary for a signal. I can't see the yellow composite port which is usually next to the R, W audio signals. In other words you have no video in to the tv as its cabled. You have three choices use a 5 cable color stream set up on the DVD and the back of the TV That would be r, b, g, r, w (audio r, w is smaller than the color cords) for picture and sound info. Or use HDMI cable all together one plug each end. Or locate the yellow composite video port and use existing audio ports. This port on ToshiThe hdmi is the best followed by color stream and composite/ and audio the least signal avail. When you chose your hookup set the TV to the same system to transmit to the set.
Just noted the composite port and matching audio could be on left side of Toshiba set Mine is on two different sizes.
