Noisy Suspension

I have a 2014 2703WS which I totally love. When not using, she is stored indoors. The problem I have is when towing, it creaks and moans like it is twenty years old. The bottom of the frame is clean and looks fine with no hints of surface rust. Since it is kept so clean I hesitate to spray anything like WD40 to quiet it down because it think I will create a dust and dirt magnet. Any ideas how to quiet this noisy think down. It's embarrassing to go through a campground. You can hear me coming.

Is it the suspension or your hitch. If it is you hitch, sounds like it is setup correctly. When I heard a squeaking groaning hitch I always smile, because I know their hitch is setup right!

You know what ? You might be exactly right. It does sound like a tension induced moan and squeak . I will really have to pay attention to that area next time out. Thanks.

I also suspect your hitch. We have an Equal-i-zer brand that DID NOT squeak much until I got it set up correct. Now everyone looks at us going through the campground. I use a little lithium grease on the equalizer/sway bars and it helps some but it still squeaks. My previous trailer had a Reese Trunnion weight distribution hitch and although it made a little noise it was nothing like my EquL-I-zer hitch. But, even though it is noisy I love it.......

You might reduce some of the noise by making sure there is plenty of grease in the ball socket especially on the top as that is where the main pressure is on a torsion hitch like Reese or EZ Lift.

Do you have the bolt on chain tighteners? If I have mine done up really tight and get in a uneven turning situation they will make noise as they will slap frame.
