Older 2502?

Hi Newbie here.

We have stumbled across a late '90's 2502 for sale.

The seller says the dry weight is about 2950 lbs and the GVWR is 4,500 - this seems somewhat low for a 25' trailer. Looking at curent versions the dry weight seems to be about 400 - 500 lbs more.

I know I will see the sticker if I check it out but wanted to save a trip if those numbers are off.

My tow vehicle has a max rating of 5,000 lbs and 500 tongue.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks!

We have a 2011 2502s....4280 with lp, otherwise empty. Were pulling with a Tacoma v6 but upgraded truck to a Tundra as the Taco struggled. Hope this helps

Even with that year, there should be a sticker in the cabinet over the sink that state the weights. The current 2502S lists a 3950 lb. weight, and that is before options. I doubt very seriously that a late 90s 2502 would be lighter, though it might not have the weight of the slide.

If there are no weights listed in the cabinet, or in the lower front drivers side corner, ask the guy if you can see the title.....that should list the empty weight.
