You guys don't know how it warms my heart to hear I'm not the only one who's done this. :rollback:

Youroo- No we haven't . I didn't know it was there. I'm not a vet so I may not be able to get in. My neighbor is though and I'll tell him. You guys ever go to Loons Point in Cedarville?

Capt. Mike- I'm not changing the signature until I get the dang thing. That doesn't mean I haven't been buying doodads for it though.

I know the feeling of not being done trading up. Just done an upgrade from a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 to a 2013 Chev Silverado 1500 last July to pull our LaCrosse. We did a skake down run to Goshen and I loved it. Wouldn't you know it DW found a new Wildcat 327 at the rally. The new Silverado was not enough to pull it. But she said she had to have it and said to trade up my new truck for a bigger one. I haven't even made my first payment on it. So now i keep getting hints "When are we going trade up?"

I know where you guys are coming from. This is why I went from a 1/2 ton last time I traded trucks to a 1 ton. I thought about a 3/4 ton but decided it was best to go with the 1 ton for future upgrades of the camper. Good thing I did because I pick up the new 42' fiver on the 3rd.

Mine, too, sort of. We traded our VW bus for a small (Generation 1) Tundra to pull our new pop up. Three years later we fell into a 26 foot 1995 Sunline. DW heard me researching the Tundra's towing capacity and suggested we get a bigger truck.
Back to the Toyota store for a 2010. All was well... until....
We went to an RV show and she saw the Rockwood with the wardrobe slide. Good-bye Sunline, hello Rockwood. Fortunately, the '10 Tundra does a fine job of towing Rocky, so we are set for the foreseeable future (famous last words).

Arrived at the TX coast to enjoy Christmas and New Year in our new windjammer. This story had me laughing so hard the wife thought I already broke into the liquor cabinet. Thanks for sharing. I can certainly relate!
