Outside Grip Handle

While camping last weekend we noticed a nice, LARGE, folding grip handle to assist stepping up into trailers. This looks like something that would be very helpful for my aging mother in law. Anyone replaced theirs? ..on a 2013 Mini Lite 2109s?

This is what came standard on my new fifth wheel. Thus, I'm sure it's a replacement part, and that you could find one. I don't know for sure where, but surely it is available.

Funny you should ask... we ordered one for our last trailer to pick up on our next trip and now we've sold the trailer so we'll have to sell the folding handle too.... because the new trailer comes with one.

It looked like a pretty easy mod, though...

We don't have a lite but just added a grab handle to our TT and it is really helpful. It was about $40 and we had it installed but could probably done it ourselves but the trailer was having some other work done so had the dealer add it.

Learning

Did look a couple of these up. Installation should be quite easy. Just want to assure I fasten into door stud like it's recommended or maybe a plate on the inside ...... mom is on the heavy side and don't want it ripped off the wall.

Note sure if that was directed at me, but I'm from Canada so the shipping would probably break the deal. I bought it and will pick it up in the US but I plan to bring it back and sell it locally; RV parts cost a fortune up here so I'm going to make a killing!

A plate and through-bolting with large washers would certainly help spread the load. With a little care it can be made to look nice too.

What is this ...... anyone know?

Found this and not know what it is or used for. Can anyone tell me?

And someday I'll learn how to post questions like this instead of replying to an older post.
