Outside kitchen door on '13 Windjammer

In October of 2013 I dropped off our new Windjammer 3006wk at the dealer for some warranty work before I tucked it away for the winter.

Fast forward to current time. I never got it back. It ended up spending the winter at the dealer. I was irritated to say the least. I had FREE indoor storage lined up, but missed getting it in there because of parts being shipped to the dealer. So I called the dealer last week seeing that our first trip is about a month away. I still need to clean everything and prep it seeing that it never got done last year.

The dealer tells me that everything is done except for the outside kitchen door. It needed replacing because FR used too large screws on the frame resulting in the door getting hung up on open and close. Not to mention it scratched the hell out of both the door and the frame. They are apparently waiting on the door. Since October. Seriously?!?!?!

Anyone else running into this? I'm having a tough time comprehending it seeing that the 2014 3006wk has a full kitchen now, causing the door to be more than double the size of my door. How can they be that far back ordered?

The dealer probably never ordered the part until you called this spring. I have read where some folks have called Forest River directly to help speed up parts delivery.
