Panel box location in a Rockwood 2104s

Hi everyone, can someone please tell me where the electrical panel box is in a Rockwood 2104s TT. Is it in the front or in the back by the refrigerator? Also would it be advantageous to move the batteries to the back bumper (4-6volt in a metal box) instead of putting the 300 pounds on the front hitch behind the propane tanks?
Thanks. Steve

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. The distribution planet is often under the front of the frig just push the cove to have it open. Moving that much weight to the rear bumper can cause real problems with towing and lack of tongue weight.

Looking at the pictures it's at the floor in the end of the cabinet to the left of the stove.
Push in on the faceplate and it should pop open and you'll see the fuses and breakers.

I agree with SeaDog that moving that much weight to the rear of the RV will probably cause stability problems.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I should have mentioned that I don’t have the trailer yet. I’m just trying to plan things.
I just didn’t know if I should put the 300 pounds of batteries up front. I have already created the Converter isolation box, so when I plug into the inverter the converter is disconnected at the breaker.
There is a lot of great information on this forum and I’m glad I found it.

Hi, and congrats on getting a 2104S - we love ours. Bama Rambler is correct, the converter and panel is near the floor, under the oven and immediately to the left as you come in through the door.

Regarding weight distribution, we have 2@ 12V batteries in the factory tray on the A frame and our tongue weight is just where it should be. Seems like if you put them in the rear, you could end up on the too-light side for tongue weight but that of course will depend on what else you're loading, and where.

Enjoy!

Thanks Jack. I will just plan on putting the four batteries in a box up front and push it as close to the coach as possible, every inch will matter when I’m adding 300 plus pounds up there. I will be adding the 2000 watt inverter and the converter isolation box up front as close to the batteries as possible
