Our 2007 Rockwood TT has severe peeling on the exterior decals. I contacted FR Parts, and they said it was due to weather, and we would need to buy new ones ($400) and replace them ourselves, or have a dealer do it. No idea what a dealer would charge. Has anyone else had this issue? Are they easy to replace? Did FR cover anything? Our unit is no longer under warranty that I'm aware of. We bought it from a private party last fall.

I would be happy to just hear back from them on my 2001. Would love to buy new ones from FR. They would not be that hard to replace.

I contacted the parts dept which I located via the FR website...the parts coordinator I spoke with was Sicily Boyce, Parts Coordinator Rockwood Windjammer & Signature Series Phone:574-642-8926. Her email is She's been responsive, but I wouldn't say overly enthusiastic to help us. Once I rec'd the $400 quote from her, I contacted a local dealer to see what they advised, and they basically said 'yep, you have to buy replacements.' They also told me that FR no longer provides the same decals as on the 2007 model, which is probably good given their tendency to peel. The version they're selling us is for the 2008 model - which still fits. She said anything prior to 2008 they are no longer selling. Good luck with your search.

The recommendation I received to keep your stripes in good shape was to use a product called 303 Aerospace Protectant. You can get in gallon sizes on Amazon.

unless you use Aerospace 303 and keep your RV covered constantly, the sun and weather are going to damage the decals.
i have a 2007 Rockwood Roo that has the same problems. FR nor any other RV manufacturer is going to cover the decals past the regular warranty period.
