memory foam pad on murphy bed

We thinking of a Rockwood 2306 but are concerned if there is space for a memory foam pad when the bed is folded-up. We're thinking about a 3 to 4" thick pad. Anybody have experience with this. Would apprciate any info. Thanks, John

I think it would be fine. Right now We have a 1.5" foam pad, a heavy duvet and several pillows which fold up in the murphy bed with no problem. will probably get a memory foam pad down the road.

We're using a 2 inch pad on ours and a comforter. No problem. Pad sure did improve the bed.

We're thinking seriously about buying a new Mini Lite 2306. We had some concerns about the Murphy bed and whether or not it was comfortable? Also had some concerns about the storage, but thanks to this thread, have addressed that concern. My last concern is about the dining table. Is it large enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to sit together? We have a Rockwood Freedom 1950 and we all fit at that table, but I don't know the dimensions and putting the pop-up up is too much work for that.

Also, we'd be pulling this with our Ford Explorer Sport Trac, so we're thankful for the weight of this camper. However, we could purchase a couple other brands that are 3-4 feet longer...does this camper feel very small? No local dealer, so we'd be purchasing one site unseen. Do you feel cramped inside the camper? My husband hates being inside the pop-up with us because of the tight floor space.

This thread is great. We have ordered a 2306 and waiting on delivery. We were a little concerned about the storage, however after reading, it seems like we will be just fine.
