Portable waste tanks

I am going to need one of these tanks this summer for a trip. I think spending a little $ is better than pulling the TT over to the dump. I was wondering what one you recommend. What brand size ect. I don't think I would mind making more than one trip per tt tank. I was looking at the Thetford and Barker. I also know they all work crappy. (So that jokes out.) Also where is the best price place to buy one. Thanks in advance for you opinions.

I ordered mine from RV warehouse.
They seemed to have the best price when I was shopping.

I hate doing the "chores" when I dry camp. So I got one big enough to take ALL of my black tank and still flush the hose out with some gray water. Then one more trip for the remaining gray water.

It lives on my bumper mount.

We have a barker 15 gal. We chose it because there are some places we are not comfortable towing the tank behind truck due to road conditions, and this one we both can lift into back of truck(together it is heavy). We usually make 2 trips, honestly take 30 mins. of our time no biggie!

I have owned both and will never buy another Thetford.

I have a 22 gallon unit (not sure of the make) and when full it's pretty heavy. Keep in mind even a 15 gallon tank can weigh 125 lbs when full. I actually just got done installing a set of air filled tires on mine as I drag it across the sandy beach in the summer.

Thanks for all of the input. I think I am going to get the 22gal Barker. I found it on sale for $116. That will fit the bill.

Just recieved my new Blue tote today! This thing looks great, cant wait to use it 4th of July week. I went with the 22 gal model. This trip should be fun 7 days dry camping. Thanks for all who help my decision.

Used my tote for the first time yesterday. Worked great. Happy I did not get bigger than 22gal. Thats heavy when full
Its easy to forget water weighs 8# a gallon. Pulled nice behind the truck. Heard stories from other camper about a guy that hooked up a 35gal wagon tote and took off to fast went around a corner and you can guess what happened. It wasn't gray either.
