Possible water leak? 2109S

The camper has been baking in the sun most of the day today and I just noticed this while walking up to it. Is it heat related or a water leak causing it?

Looks like a possible window frame leak.

What's the fix? Pop out the window and reseal it?

Does anyone know how that window is sealed? A big bead of caulking or the sealing tape? I'd like to get all the supplies so I can finish it up in a weekend.

Definitely the beginning of Delamination, usually due to water penetration underneath surface.

My 2018 FR looks like a gasket with clear silicone around it. My last TT was caulk tape and sealant around it.

It's probably a dead end but I'm going to try contracting Forest River first. We had this unit in for a front window leak within the first 3 months of ownership. I noticed the leak and added caulking to the edge of the window just to stop water from getting in. We brought it to the dealer, they kept it a couple weeks and then said it was all set. When I picked it up it had the same caulking on it that I had added still. So obviously they did nothing. Unfortunately that was 4 years ago so somehow they'll blame it on me still. To me, that tiny bead around the window frame edge shouldn't be all that stops the water from leaking it.

Also check the seals up on top where the roof connects to the front wall. On my Rocky, I had a tiny water leak (just drops) coming down on the bed right near the front window and I noticed the seal up on the roof had a few spots where it was cracked. So I got a 10-foot section of 4-inch wide tan Eternabond tape and, also, a can of EC-1 Eternabond cleaner and cleaned it all up and ran the tape the entire length up there. (I haven't been out in heavy rains, yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll never leak again.)

I'll give it another look up there. I just scrubbed the roof about a month ago and looked it over closely and everything looked real good up there. I know when I had the original water leak the caulking I added around the front window frame fixed it. I have never seen water inside the camper since but it was still getting in the wall somehow.

Was the camper covered over the winter and this side facing the sun?

No, I have never covered it. Where it was parked gets partial sun.

Good to hear as you may have a smaller problem. I've recently read wheee the cover traps dampness and the heat from the sun basically steams the gelcoat causing delamination.
