I always roll my awning up at night. I have lost two over the last 30 years. One was tied down, and the wind still took it. If I leave the site for a few hours, I still roll it up !! Ya it's a pain, but I know it's safe.

That would have be a No No at Amana Rally,My GOOD Neighbor just (Happened) to still be Up at (2.30am) and held 1 pole while I held the other pole and my Wife pushed the switch to retract! The Awning would have been (OVER the TOP) of our unit by just (Push the Button)! PS Thanks again Turbs! Youroo!! PS, screen room support will need (Support Poles) on Awning Tube!

May be a true statement by OC concerning add-a-room but not applicable to sunshade specifically for an electric awning. The one shown stays with the awning when retracted and a provided added panel is zipped to the bottom that reaches the ground if needed. No issues for 2 years of installation time.
