Pre-camp shakedown

Good morning,
After the disappointment with not getting shore power to work, things are going well. Plumbing system is sanitizing. Got the tank flushed, filled and added the bleach. I will flush tonight and add the water-our filter. I did find a small leak by the water pump. Appeared to be coming from a loose connection on the output side. I will monitor it as I flush the system tonight.

The 30 amp cable still baffled me. I am no electrician, but not getting any voltage reading at the female end of the cord does not seem right. I verified power at the plug, the adapter, and made sure the plug was plugged in.

Everything else that I could operate worked great. I just need to figure out this electrical problem so I can charge my battery.

Thanks,

After all the headache last night, the power cord was bad. Dealer swapped it out and the new one is working like a champ. The "Dog House" is plugged in, charging the battery, and cooling the beer. One more day until we leave. Can't wait. Cheers,

More importantly, glad to hear the beer is getting cold.

Have fun and have one for me.

Good to see you are ready to go camping now and it was a small thing. It is funny how different dealers do things. Our trailer was in one of the predelivery bays at the dealer all hooked up with it's own cables etc when we got there for our delivery walk through. Then they brought our truck in the building and set the hitch up with the trailer. That way we saw all our gear working prior to driving out of the building with it.

Totally agree, who would have in a million years thought the power cord would be bad..

Hopefully that is all the troubles you ever have and have smooth sailing from here on..
