Pre Purchase Survey / Inspection ????
I'm leaving the boating world and its very common to have a pre purchase survey done by a licensed inspector. It is very similar to a home inspection.
Has anyone had one done on their RV/TT? Any recommended companies.
I'm especially concerned about leaking roofs, bent frames and supports, and making sure everything operates as it should, especially if I decide to get a pre-owned one. My reason for this thinking is that my dad bought a pre-owned FR Cardinal 5th wheel and discovered it had a leaking roof and it ended up sorting him 10K for Camping World to replace/reseal roof. I just don't want to get stuck with this. Almost talking myself into a new one, but they have problems also and I'd still get a survey done more than likely.
