Pro-Tech awning cover

Hello, has anyone used Pro-Tech awning cover to cover their patio awning, if so, can you tell me if its worth the money, I live in Ca. I'm debating on the Pro-Tech awning cover or just getting a TT cover. The trailer is parked between two homes, but does get late afternoon sun. I have a 2014 Windjammer 2618W tt, has anyone ordered a cover for their Windjammer, if so how is the fit with the pointed nose. any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks Rich

I took advice from this site and purchased a couple lengths of plastic gutter at Home Depot.
Cut 'em down and stuck them over the awning.
Total cost - $8.

I found something on Trailer Life forum that shows using PVC gutter for awning cover.

Interesting...

RV.Net Open Roads Forum: Awning Sun Shield

No one on this thread came up with a really good method to secure it but they claimed it held on no problem travelling down the road.

I didn't bother with end caps.
I am only interested in protecting the awning fabric.
It sticks on very well with friction only altho I do remove it before hitting the road.
