Purchased a Windjammer 3029W

Purchased a new Windjammer 3029W at the Minneapolis RV show in early February. We won't get it unitl mid to late April. We can't wait for the first trip. We are not new to RVing we traded in a 36 Class A rv for the TT. I do have concerns about backing in to campsites, is there anything that we should be aware of compared to owning a class A rv?

Backing is easy once you're used to the fact that it's going to pivot, unlike your class A. ALWAYS have a spotter!!!

Practice as well! Shopping plazas make great impromptu "practice areas"

Congrats on your new Windjammer 3029W! You might try practicing in a school parking lot on a Sunday. Start with your tow vehicle and camper lined up straight. Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. While slowly backing up move your hand/steering wheel in the direction you want the rear of the camper to go. It does take practice but you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Congrats on the new trailer and welcome to the Windjammer family. Take your time and practice. You'll be backing like a pro in no time. Wife and I use two way radios and she uses "driver" and "passenger" for directions since right and left can get a little confusing depending on your perspective.

Like a good friend told me, "Back up until it sounds expensive!" LOL.. Take your time and you will get it down pat after some trial and error.

I have found though that when you back in like a pro, there will be no one watching but when you bounce off every tree, half the camp will be watching.
