Purchasing a warranty

May be purchasing a used Windjammer 3008 and need to purchase a warranty for it. Dealership gave us a brochure but just looking for some input to make a decision.

Be careful you understand what is covered, who can do the work, preapproval requirements and how service shops are paid.

Then, make sure "your" shop accepts the coverage.

I have not found the price to be worth it for an extended third-party warranty once I looked at those details.

But only you can decide knowing the used trailer like you do.

We decided not to purchase the third-party warranty and opted for FR's second year warranty for $150.

Agreed with the FR second year warranty.

We've had a few discussions on this before; a great thread I will point out is this one:
Forest River Extended Warranty (2nd year)

I point you there as it also has the forms as attachments within it; in case your unit didn't come with it.

I don't think the FR 2nd year is available on a used trailer.
