Queen Bed

Is there enough clearance in a Windjammer 3008w bedroom to swap out the 60X74 mattress for a standard queen 60x80 for the slide to close? I am taller and would like the extra length in the mattress. Thanks for the help.

no,you would have to lift the end of the bed above the cabinet as the slide comes in

The smaller mattress bumps the wardrobe with the slide closed. You would have to turn the mattress sideways before closing or lift it like Redheaded Blue stated

I'm not sure about a 3008 as we have a 3001 & we switched the mattress out with a standard Queen from Sams club & yes it bumps the dresser but it fits fine

Yes a standard Queen will fit & yes it will bump the dresser but there is room at least on a 3001 windjammer. we switched ours before we picked it up from dealer as we had just bought a new one from sams club.

Yes, but the question was asked about the 3008w and the answer is NO, a full length queen will not fit with the slide in.

You might want to try this instead. Since the difference is about 5 inches, have a piece of foam cut that's the width of the mattress and 5 inches deep. Now, slide you existing mattress away from the headboard and insert your cut foam. Make your bed and your pillows will sit on the seam and new foam and you'll have an extra five inches at the base.

When it's time to pack up just pull the pillows back, roll up and back your foam insert, slide the original mattress back into place and slide in the slide. How's that?
