Rear Camera Question

I have to ask this..DW wants me too....
Has anyone out there put a rear facing camera unit on their TT to assist when towing to make sure that the tailgaters are actually clear before you lane change etc?
I know it would help with backing up but I have only seen the rear cameras on Class A's and was wondering if anyone has done it to their 5th or TT.
Thanks in advance

You could see this thread for similar discussions and my experience with the Garmin RV760LMT and BC-20 backup camera add-on.

I know this is late to the party, but I actually ran across your post while researching something else.

If you haven't solved your problem yet, this may be an answer and has worked for me. It is a long thread, but I have a youtube video (post #34) posted in it, where I have it installed in the rear window of my TT, for the reasons you speak of. Other members also have pics posted of the same in that thread.

Hope it helps

TT Rear Camera

Self installed a rear camera on our 3008 rockwood. Works good but still learning how much space to leave. Two camera system, 90 degree and 180 degree. Almost a one day install for both the TT and TV.
