recognition , extended warranty, and a suggestion

1)I would like to recognize Greg Rollins, Warranty Manager, Rockwood/Flagstaff for doing great work. I never spoke to Greg , but when he got involved in my file, the right things got done. Thanks Greg!

2)Thought I'd mention to new buyers ... Forest River offers a year extended warranty. The dealer will not mention this to you as they want to sell their own overpriced version.

3)I think Forest River should consider an "extended use" option on trailers for people that use their units a lot. We spend over 5 months in ours and pull it 4000 miles plus. The option should include -- upgraded tires and/or suspension, rear view camera, upgraded flooring ... and I know you can think of more. I would have been willing to pay more for this option knowing how much we were going to use the unit. Especially the tires!

2 years old and all 4 tires are falling apart. Just replaced them and am waiting to talk to Greg to get some reimbursement since it was under the 2nd year warranty that I paid for. Dealer is checking with Greg but I don't trust dealer to do the right thing. Thanks for the good word on Greg - I hope he does the same for me.

CHEAP TIRES - watch them closely

GET 2ND WARRANTY - you'll use it.

Flooring (carpet and vinyl) starting wearing out after 2 months!!!

RetiredGuy is right on!!

My dealer did not mention the 2nd year extended warranty either but I read about it on this forum yesterday and called Forest River today. I had an application emailed to me within 3 minutes of my phone call :-)

"tires" is clearly stated on the 2nd year warranty so we need to push it. I'll let you know when they get back to me. My dealer said he thought FR paid $75 per tires under the warranty and he agreed they were on the 2nd year warranty.

The $75 per tire is accurate.

Thank You Vendors

I would like to thank the people from BAL stabilizers, Furrion Televisions and Forest River. The reps from these companies solved some small issues that my dealer was unable or unwilling to resolve. They all responded quickly to questions were very willing to help with my problems.

Forest River offers a tire upgrade on Wildcats. The Maxxis 16s also come with upgraded Dexter axles.
