Reese Revolution 8289WS

Just moved my unit and the Revolution pin box was moaning and creaking, feels like it's going to rip the hitch out of the bed of my F250. I've maintained the 5th hitch hitting all moving parts with white lithium grease.
I can't seem to find anything on lubrication of the pin box and related parts. The wedge and pin itself are greased correctly, maybe something within the turret?
Thx!

Mine was doing the same thing. Turned the pinbox as far as I could to the side (with it hooked up to the truck, I can't turn mine by hand) and lubed the top of the black plastic plate with white lithium grease. Problem solved.

I also have a revolution hitch and I hear a thunking noise when i accelerate from a stop. I was used to hearing a little clanking noise with my old hitch, so this is different. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure. Maybe your wedge is loose and/or not adjusted so it's flush with the hitch? Or Is there space between your king pin and hitch jaw(s) when hooked up so it moves a bit? I have no idea how to fix the latter or if it even needs fixing? There are plenty of guys on here that have way more experience than I do with the revolution. Hopefully they'll jump in the discussion.

The revolution needs to be lubricated annually by removing the cotter pin, castle nut and then drop the inbox. Clean, relube and reassemble. This is explained in the owners manual or you can find the info on reeses website.

Correction: Do not remove the castle nut, just loosen it so the pinbox lowers about 1/2inch and relube with lithium grease.

And you will tell us just how you get the pinbox down 1/2" on the rear pivot tube? The 2 engineers that designed the hitch told us @ Goshen 2 or 3 yrs ago to NEVER lube the rear pivot tube.

OC...In my hast in reponding to the OP. I left out the part to lube only the wear plate per Reese's installation manual on page 7. Which BTW you provided and I saved from a post back in 2012. Sorry if I forgot a part of the process.

Last year the same Reese engineer told me the whole pin needs to be lubed. They replaced my whole pin box due to it being seized.
