Refrigerator Indicator Light

I have taken our new 2109S out 3 times since we purchased it. I have noticed that the indicator lights for the fridge are extremely bright at 2AM when you are trying to sleep. I wonder if any one else has this issue and how you solved it. My quick fix was a piece of duck tape over the light. I know duck tape is the official fix for everything but I was wondering if anyone found a different solution?

Thanks,
Scott

Being that our refrig is in the dinning area and our bed room at the font of the camper never notice the brightness. Later RJD

I have only noticed that when I am passed out on the kitchen floor and dust CRASHES down on my head and wakes me up.

Seriously, there are so many "on" LEDs glowing it is tough to find a totally dark spot anywhere these days.

We have a 2013 2109s and had the same issue. Right above the lite is a door stopper for the bathroom door. We cut a small hole in a piece of chip board and place it over the door stop. It covers the refrigerator lite very well.

If you can get to the back of the light, you could wire in a resistor to drop the voltage and hence the light level.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think the electrical tape is a good fix for now. It matches the background pretty good. The added resistor is a good idea. I'll have to see if the panel comes off easily. I post back if I can add is successfully.

Mine is very annoying too. I pull the curtain around to block it out.

A dab of fingernail polish. You can find it in many colors even a color to match the paint where you just scratched the side of the camper and your wife has not noticed. Only problem is some brands oxidize worse than others so you need to check regularly or have a back-up plan/story ready.

I agree that the light is annoying. But I have a different problem. Everynight my "check light" goes on causing two bright lights illuminated. It happens only at night and only at high altitudes and only on propane??? any ideas?

Here's my husband's solution - close your eyes and you won't see it. DOH!
