Replacing factory cd/radio

We are the original owners of a 2011 Mini Lite 2304. The unit has its original entertainment center that has the rubbery feeling radio/cd player they used back then.

Over time in the heat, this soft rubber like coating melts and becomes very sticky and messy. I tried cleaning the coating off and its better but when you do that the button labels disappear and it doesn’t look great.

Has anyone had to replace theirs and any suggestions for a replacement unit that works with the systems in the camper?

I love the new mini lites, they’re much improved over ours, but we’re not ready to get a new unit yet.

I can't help you with replacement, but I just picked up a 2011 Roo and was wondering why the face of the radio was so sticky. I'm also looking to replace mine as it doesn't work well at all. I've heard the iRV34 model fits and uses the same connections.

Thanks for the info i’ll check that model out. The melting coating on ours also affected the buttons.

try scrubbing the rubber with wd-40 sprayed on a rag or scrubby pad. it worked on the rubber coating of a hand held range finder I have.
