Rock wood 8329SS-anyone rotated the electric tongue jack?

We can't open the truck tailgate because it hits the controls on the electric tongue jack. I just need another 1/2 inch clearance. The RV is in storage so I can't get the brand/model number. Has anyone successfully rotated the Jack/head? Was it very difficult? If not, does anyone know the brand/model and I can contact the manufacturer. There is no manual with the RV paperwork.
Thanks!

What brand is it?
I purposely bought an Ultra Fab jack so I could rotate the motor to clear my tailgate.

Just three bolts & tongue jack is loose-not difficult at all.

If you cant Rotate the Head or use the base bolt patern to clear, pull the Shank and Drill another 5/8 Hole for the desired clearance needed! Youroo!!

If all other methods fail, you can take the jack to a welding shop and have the triangle flange cut off and rotated 180 degrees. Last resort tho'.

I have the same problem. Can't rotate the mounting plate 120° 'cause the head is then into the propane tank. Can't rotate the jack head 90° 'cause the head isn't square and the holes won't line up.
Four solutions: Replace jack with a model that has a more compact head.
Re-weld the mounting plate, as mentioned by OC (except it would need to be a 90° rotation so the switches would be facing to the side of the rig, not aft.)
Buy a longer draw bar. This would move the ball further from the TV possibly creating more problems for the WDH.
I'm going with the fourth solution and am living with it.

I went to storage yesterday and the model is a FIC 3500. It can't be rotated 180 degrees because the propane tanks are in the way. It can't be rotated 90 degrees because the bolt holes don't line up. They are configured in a triangle pattern and aren't equal distances apart. Drilling another hole won't work because it will compromise the strength of the coupler metal by placing two holes close to each other. My only option is to see if the head will rotate by itself or get a longer receiver drawbar as mentioned by Awellis.

Mine does the same thing. Thought about using the other hole on my receiver draw bar, but that changes the weight limits of my equalizer hitch.
