Thanks everybody for your comments....
One question for 2109 owners. Does this model have a black tank flush?
Kinda important I think...

No it doesn't. You can buy them aftermarket but, if you don't put a bunch of paper and...stuff in it you'll probably never have to worry about it. Ours is liquid only unless it's an emergency.

Take a look at the reviews for any Camco product before you buy. You might also look at: Amazon.com: Valterra F02-4350 Black 'Flush King' Reverse RV Flush Valve: Automotive.

Personally, I made my own tank wand from some spare parts I had left over from other projects. I cut a female hose coupling off an old split garden hose and epoxied it into a 1" diameter x 30" long piece of PVC pipe left over from a sprinkler system repair. I used PVC cement to fix a 39 cent PVC cap to the other end of the pipe, then drilled three small diameter holes in the side of the cap.

When connected to a hose at a dump, I just insert the wand down the toilet after the tank has drained but while the black valve is still open. Then I twist it around to move the three water jets around the sides and bottom of the tank. Generally within 2 or 3 minutes after inserting it, the tank water is cleared up. I normally use it with my incredible shrinking, "as advertised on TV" Pocket Hose (from Walgreen's, not TV). The hose comes with a shut-off valve, so tank cleaning is now a one-person job.

We just took delivery of our factory ordered 2109s so we only have less than 100 miles on it so far.
My tow vehicle is the same as fanrgs', a 2012 Nissan Frontier V6 rated to tow 6300 lbs. I can only say that in the 90 miles drive from the dealership to home, with some short steep hills thrown in, the TV (tow vehicle) seemed barley up to the task. Gas mileage definitely suffers - I estimated less than 10 mpg on the return trip towing the trailer.
There was not room on the trailer's A frame to mount another class 27 12 volt battery so I mounted it on the rear bumper in front of the spare tire where it snuggles in nicely. I wired the extra battery to the main 12v wires that conveniently run across the underside rear of the trailer. I had purchased a pair of LifeLine absorbed gas mat batteries for our previous trailer. At a cost of $150 apiece I did not want to give up these batteries when I traded in the TrailManor.
I had mounted 2 solar panels on our old trailer but I figure with the Rockwood's LED lights and our very limited TV useage we might get by for 3-5 days of dry camping without solar charging.
What do you think farangs? And why do you think the refrigerator draws current when it is running on gas?
Overall, my initial impression is that this is a well made and accessorized trailer. It has the perfect floorplan for the 2 of us with no grandchildren.
My wife really wanted a gas oven like we had in our TrailManor and this was the only compact trailer that had one. Many compact models just have a 2 burner stove and no option for a gas oven.
I'll report back after we have a few camping trips under our belt.

Thanks for your reply Bruce. It is troubling for me to hear that your TV was barely up to the task because I have a similar rated TV and was hoping that I wouldn't have any problems towing this size.....I guess I will look for a smaller lighter TT.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
You will get a more informed opinion of the capability of your TV if you talk with fanrgs. He has towed their Rockwood all over Canada & Alaska.
I was only implying that it slows down going uphill which is the price one pays for not having a huge gas hog or a noisy diesel.

I prefer driving a smaller vehicle and I don't mind being passed by other vehicles going up steep grades.
It takes more oomph to tow the Rockwood than our TrailManor but the TrailManor folded down in size so it had much less wind resistance.
