I'm taking delivery of a 2013 Flagstaff tomorrow, twin to your 2604 and I sure as heck hope the shower isn't plumbed to the black tank. What's the logic in that? You want your black tank to have time to do it's work on solids. It will fill up quickly during just a couple showers.

I contacted the factory Rep for central Pa. at the Hershey Rv show. After a long discussion about not being told about the plumbing and the fact that the black tank will over flow into the shower drain, he agreed to sent repair directions to my dealer.

The fix is an easy repair since the bathroom sink is next to the shower. Dealer plumbed from the shower drain and connected into the bathroom sink drain.

Does anyone know whether the new 2013 models of the 2604 have this plumbing issue? We are waiting on one and of course it never occurred to us to ask whether it was designed so that the gray water was going into the gray water tank. Why would it do otherwise? Isn't that the reason to have two tanks? There is a current thread talking about this same issue with regard to a Primetime TT, and it sounds like some people who complain are given a fix while others are told it can't be fixed.

I have a 2012 year model 2604 and the shower IS plumbed into the grey tank. Anyone that has the shower plumbed to the black tank can reroute the shower to the grey tank with a little pvc plumbing work. The hardest part will be removing the trl under sheeting to get at the pipes.

Why on earth would a trailer be plumbed this way? Is there any possible GOOD reason, or is it just to save money?

Just took delivery of my new 2013 Flagstaff 26RLSS yesterday (sister to the Rockwood 2604) and I am happy to say, the shower is properly plumbed to drain into the gray tank. If you have one currently being built, I would strongly suggest making a call directly to the factory.
