Rockwood 2604 livingroom slide

I just picked up my 2016 Rockwood 2604 and I have a question for fellow owners. During the walk thru I was concerned with the living room slide out blocked the TV on the wall slightly. The manufacture installed a 29 inch. When the slide is out the left hand side of the tv is blocked by the slide about 2 inches. They told me this is how it's designed. Has anyone else encountered this problem and is it normal?

Most are mounted on a swing arm. You should be able to pull it out and then swing it to the side.

X2
Mine came with a smaller TV; I installed a larger one using the same mount. It swings out with no problem seeing the whole screen.

Slide not flush with wall

The TV is not the problem, the slide has a 2" gap around the edge. The slide is not flush with the wall when in the out position. The dealer said that is how it was designed. When looking at pictures' of different 2604s, some look like the slide is out farther than others. Is there suppose to be a gap around the slide?

No. The trim around the slide has a seal that should be compressed against the trailer's wall. The slide should clear the TV "hole" completely.

No there should not be a gap. As previously stated, the slide seal should compress against the side of the trailer and you should not be able to see light shining through around the slide. Sounds like the dealer either doesn't know how to adjust the slide or more likely, doesn't want to take the time to make the adjustment.

You should take it back and have them fix that.

Yup no gap at all! My TV is not blocked at all with slide out.
Hey can you do me a favor and look underneath and tell me if your axes have a lift kit on them? If you look up my posts you can read the issue I had.....but I need to know if yours has a lift kit on it and if you have 15 " wheels. Thanks!!!

Your TV reference was a red herring. Should have just told us your slide wasn't opening against the wall.

Yeah, that's a problem.

Our 2015 2604 does not block the TV at all as long as the slide is fully extended.
