Hello,
We purchased anew 2304S last spring. Have been to the MN North Shore and to the Estes Park Co. area with no problems. We love the floorplan and the size is right for the two of us at this stage in our life. We have owned an Aliner and two Hi-Lo trailers before this one - they all have issues to some degree and you can get one with problems. Our 2310 Hi-Lo seemed to have been built as the company was going out of business and the problems started on the trip home from the dealer.
Forest river is a well capitalized, large corporation and they build for many markets. Find a dealer you are comfortable with and spend some time really going through and inspecting all the systems, fit and finish, and floor plan of the actual unit you purchase. (My 2 cents)..

2011 2702SS and all (and I mean all) is very well. Couldn't be happier, love the floor plan, trim and finish in and out. Would do it again without hesitation.

We had a ROO 23SS for 5 years 1 issue the front expand door wanted to leak. In jun this year we traded up to a Rockwood 2604 and love it. Been on 4 trips, 3 weekenders and a 2 week trip this year with only 1 minor problem of a leak on shower enclosure that I fixed with some caulk in 2 minutes.

I purchased my Mini Lite 2306 in January 2011 and Picked up from Dealer in March 2011 - Have camped so far 30 days since March - Has been very reliable.

Havent had to take it back to the dealer for any issues yet since I am very handy and these issues are considered minor to me.

Will give you some things to look at so when you do bring yours home you will be one up and not have issues.

Look the roof over especially where the cable for the antenna enters the camper - mine had a slight leak there until I used the Dicor Lap Sealant to re-seal that area and a few other questionable areas - no leaks since.

Re-greased the axles - had to replace 3 of the 4 rubber dust cover's and found one axle bearings were loose which could have caused issues later on.

had an issue with the microwave door not opening - just had to adjust the frame and havent had an issue since.

Optional items to either install or replace:

Replaced the shower head with a Oxygenics shower head - stock one was lacking big time and the Oxygenics will save you water for a longer shower.

added a Battery Disconnect since they do not come from the factory.

added a locking Water door since I live in a condo and do not need foreign items put down my fresh water tank

Installed a Tornado - Black Tank Rinser.

Purchase the extra 1 year warranty so you will get a full 2 years on the new trailer when you take delivery - well worth the piece of mind - you can get the paperwork here and send to Forest river if your Dealer does not supply you with the paperwork

We have a 2011 2604. Traveled about 5000 miles so far with only a couple of very small problems that I easily took care of myself. we"ll keep our fingers crossed, but so far so good.

I purchased a Rockwood Mini Lite 2502s last Novemeber. Picked the unit up in February and have used it with only the need to tighten a few screws and add a tilt mount on the TV swing mount.

I love it and have no issues. This is a nice unit for a lightweight trailer and the price quality, and features are very much inline.
