Rockwood 2703 Where is the low point drain

Greetings all,

Saw another thread about the low point drain on another model and it made me realize I have no idea where mine is. There is a sticker on the side telling me where it should be but there is nothing there. Anyone know?

Hello,
On my 2703 the drain was under the trailer by the city water fill.

I have a drain for the fresh water tank near the city water inlet, but the sticker for the low point drain is back near the sewer drain. And there is nothing there.... Maybe they forgot it!

Crawl underneath where the stickers are and look up. I had trouble finding mine too.

Mine is a small white valve under the trailer where that sticker is.

I believe that is the fresh water tank drain, not same as a low point drain. Low point drains usually don't have a valve on them unless a previous owner has added them. They usually only have a screw on cap on the end. There are 2 low point drains, one for hot and one for cold in the same location and sometimes they will have a two different colored caps, mine are both grey caps.

I have a 2016 2703WS the low point drains are right behind where the stickers are, below the fresh water fill. There are two of them, one blue (cold) and one red (hot), both are capped. you have to crawl under to find them. The small white valve mentioned earlier is the drain for the fresh water tank. As soon as the weather gets warmer I plan to put valves on both the hot and cold low point drains to make it easier to empty and blow dry with compressed air as we do cold weather camp early in the season and late in the year.

I've read where some people run a water line from the low points out to the side of the RV and then put a valve on it and find a way to attach it to the frame or the side. That way you don't have to crawl under it to open a valve, plus it won't be hanging down and get knocked off by something laying in the road.

You might try to follow your lines inside the trailer, looking for any kind of a "TEE" that goes down into the floor. That's likely your low point drain.

Thanks all for the responses.

The only thing I have in that area is the tank drains and a fresh water tank drain (petcock). I am familiar with what the low point drains look like, and that's the problem I have. They aren't there! Maybe the mfg forgot to route them outside the coroplast. Thought I would ask in case I was just missing something. Will keep looking-see if I can find the tee that rockfordroo mentioned.

I found mine! Right behind the skirt, below the sticker. I couldn't see them until I laid on my back under the sewer drain. Hope that sewer cap doesn't leak!
