The end of the counter has been the best place thus far.

We use a garbage can with a foot operated lid and rectangular shape it minimize it's width and put it at the end of the counter.

We have the same trailer in the Flagstaff line. No real good spot so end of the counter or under the extension when in use. We have a little stainless model with a lid and foot pedal.

How much space is left when the slides are in? I'm thinking of doing something similar once mine gets here, possibly attaching it to the end of the counter semi-permanently if there's enough room.

The dinette slide moves about 4 inches past the right edge (door side) of the counter. I don't think you can leave the counter top extension up when the slide is in. You cannot get into the living area when the slide is in. The other slide doesn't come in as far.

We put a recliner at the end of the counter, so the a plastic garbage can goes just inside the front end of the slide. We have the free standing table and chairs.

Good deal. I was most curious as to whether or not I could leave a small trash can at the end of the counter when closed (not sure exactly how I'll anchor it yet). I've got the exact same slide in my 2104S, so I've got those dimensions, just wasn't sure how far it came in past the counter. Worst case is I can leave the can under the dinette table and the table legs should keep it from moving around while traveling.

I picked up my 2703 this past week. When I got home I noticed the sewer dump line hanging a little low. There is a metal strap supporting the PVC tube, near the outlet, that has sheared off the screw supporting it. Meanwhile, I fashioned a hook to hold it. Is this metal strap with only one screw the only thing that supports the sewer outlet lines?

Yeah, mine looks the same. My screw hasn't broken yet. Looks like a second screw would be a good idea.
