Hopefully it will be 7 days and not 10. Congrats on the new camper. Post pics when you can.

That means you've only got 7-10 days to plan that first trip!

Congrats on the new tt and enjoy.

we have most trips planned for this summer. we will start in April and end in November. We have 10 weeks in Maine (Wild Duck Campground in Scarborough) starting July 10. We upgraded from a Shamrock 18, this Rockwood 2902SS is going to feel huge!!

usually takes about 3 to 5 depending on the day of the week, it has to clear final inspect, clear finance and then get dispatched. also depends on how far the dealer is from the plant in Indiana, farther away takes a little longer but most units can ship across the country in 3 days. There are some delays in shipping presently just fyi.

Well our camper came in about a week ago and we looked at it this past weekend. Forest River left out a few pieces of trim on the slide outs and some of the attached trim has large gouges in it. The dealer told us that they should have it fixed for us for April 30. 2 more weeks of waiting! I guess Forest River is still having issues with quality control, even in this down economy.

On Friday April 30 we picked up our camper and headed out to the Hampton beach RV park in NH which is about 1 hour from our house for a shake down cruise. Overall a good trip except for a few issues: water pump only worked if you gave it a tap with a screwdriver, the black water flush wast not hooked up correctly at the factory so we had a slight flood in the camper, some of the trim was not repaired because Forest River sent the incorrect parts, the refrigerator fan in the Dometic refrigerator sounds like a diesel engine when it kicks in! Some of these repairs I will handle myself so that I get the rig ready for our next trip. I will post images in a couple of days.
