We have an Ultra Lite 8265ws and love it. We've had for 2-1/2 years and no issues. Perfect size for the DW and I. Had other couples join us for a weekend and they have mention that it is very comfortable sleeping on the air bed.

We have a 8280 and we love it . No problems with the camper . Most of the time we camp with 2 adults and 2 children and sometimes with 4 adults and 2 children . The floor plan fits our needs with a lot of counter space and plenty of storage space also. The outside ref. comes in handy . This model was made to be pulled with a 1/2 ton pickup .

We have a 8289. No major issues. Added a lift kit to the axle to accommodate larger tires on the truck and tow level. Have had some little things like hinges loose, slide making noise etc. Overall very happy.
I did tow it with a F 150 Ecoboost Crew Cab with King Ranch trim. This took a lot out available payload so towing at limit all the time. It did it just fine, would not want to do mountains. Had a prime opportunity to upgrade to a Diesel TV and did so at minimal upgrade cost.

Have 8289 and have had problem free 3 years. Minor things which were easy for me to take care of.

This is my first year with my 8265ws and have no major problems. The only thing broken is the pop up tv won't stay down. I think it's a pretty nice unit for the price range. Next spring I am going to replace the tires just to be safe.

8289 for almost two years. Only major issue are the china bomb tires. Had one awhile back that would not hold pressure, bad bead on the tire. Replaced all 5. Do a search on the tires that these come with, you will find enough reading for a very long time. We are happy with our RV.

the 8289WS is a good bang for the buck, lots of room, don't like the placement of the furnace cuts down on storage. Only real problem I had have been dealers repairs, should have done them myself. But you live and learn. You really do not hear to much on Rockwoods. Only big money things I have replaced were the tires and converter. Oh yea forgot had stainless steel corner glides made after breaking 3 of the plastic ones in two years. No problems with them anymore.

We really like our 8281ws. We have had it for 3 years. Had two of the original tires blow the same day the second year we had it. Replaced the remaining with load range E Carlisle and have had no more issues. Minor trim things fixed by our dealer. Have taken it from our home in east Texas to the Grand Canyon and out east to Destin FL. Pulls great. I really like the revolution hitch in my short bed pick up. Probably go with another once the kids leave the nest.

I have 8282ws. Like Bob Caldwell above I've had a few little issues like screws loose. Did have to replace legs under sofa with wider ones so they wouldn't punch thru, but that's not trailer issue. Biggest thing was the trail express LR-C tires that came on it. One blew at about 5500 miles. Upgraded to gy marathons LR-D and good to go. Tow with 08 tundra.

Almost everyone either has or will have problems with the trail express tires. We made it through the first year and 7500 miles but just barely. One had a split on the sidewall when we took them off this spring. And with the rubber stems they were constantly loosing air. I mean lots of air. Like I had to add air them up every time we used it. Get them off as quick as you can and go to a higher ply rating. Lots and lots of threads about tires on this forum.
For me, a good TPMS system is a must also.
We are running Maxxis now on metal stems and after 8 months I finally had to add a little air to them the other day.

Have the 8282WS two years now and covered a little over 11K miles and 15 weeks camping. So far , other than the front cap, we've had a few small problems I fixed myself. The movable dinette in ours is exactly what we wanted.
Wwe love ours.
