We bought the 8280 (different floor plan) a year ago. There isn't a thing we don't love about that camper. It even tows wonderfully with my 6 cyl ecoboost Ford. We've completed one season and can't wait to start the next.
It's just the two of us and we don't need the bunk room and second bathroom but it's basically the same. The 8281 is slightly heaver with the extra slide but still ultra light.
