Rockwood 8285ws a/c air leak

Was working in my Rockwood today making preparations for the upcoming trip to Nova Scotia.

Was storing paper towels in the cabinet above the television, the very top cabinet. Had the A/C on, but with the vents in the bedroom closed. When I opened the cabinet doors, I could feel very cold air in the top cabinet storage area. Upon further investigation by feeling around the ceiling area in the top of the cabinet, I discovered a piece of ceiling trim on the ceiling
that closed the seam for the ceiling sections leaking COLD AIR and lots of it into the top cabinet. Shut down the a/c, got my trusty caulking gun with white silicone caulk, applied generous amount of the caulk into the leaking area.

Thought I would pass this on to the Rockwood owners that has a seam in the ceiling that goes into a cabinet to check for a A/C air leak.

Just a thought!
