OMG!!! My dealer just called me and said we can pick up our camper TOMORROW. He is waiting for one of his drivers to call him back...and if he doesn't, he is going to drive there PERSONALLY to pick it up. Now I have to call the CU and get an appointment to sign the financing papers, and have to get the VIN # to get insurance. I'm SOOOOOOOO excited!!! Tonight we pick up our used Dodge Ram 2500, and tomorrow the camper. I feel like I've died and gone to Heaven. I hope you get your camper soon. I'll post some photos this weekend. Wish us luck!!

Sweet! I'll be sure to post photos while we're 'camping" in our driveway so you can see what you're getting.

Worked my tail off for a day and a half loading everything and getting it "spiffed up" for our shakedown this weekend. Whew! I'm not sure on the height; Rockwood brochure lists it as 120", but I'm not sure if that includes the rooftop air unit. I'll check on our sticker when I get home and see if it has the actual height listed. Too busy to take good photos over the weekend - I'm planning to set up my tripod and "good" camera tonight to take some. My cell phone camera just sucks. Only found two small issues - one of the chairs had a nick in it, so my hubby dabbed a bit of dark stain on it; can't even see it anymore.. And the plexiglass on the screen door has a crack; they've ordered us a new one of those. Our unit came in at a weight of 6504 lbs. "dry," 617 lbs. more than the brochure. I guess all the options really do add up! Truck with equalizer hitch pulled it like a dream. We're SO glad we bought the "new" truck last week. Can't imagine pulling this with the Durango. I'll be in touch....

No height sticker. Hubby thinks 120" is without the air unit. He thinks you should add another foot for that. So a total of eleven feet.

Yeah, that's what I thought!! I think I'm gonna have to wait till it gets here, put somebody on top and back it up to see if it fits!! I just thought they might have noted that somewhere!! Thanks so much! Hopefully within the week mine will be here!!!

Depending on what is installed on the roof, the AC may not be the highest item. My forward MAXX Air is only an inch lower than the Coleman Mach II AC.

The highest item on my camper was the FM antenna until it bent when I hit a tree branch; now it is the AC.

Thanks for the input!! I think we will wait till it gets here before adjusting the height of the patio, so we know exactly how high we need to go!!! We currently have 10'-8" clear.. Hopefully we won't have to go too much higher!!

So after a really quick walk through which I insisted on, before doing any paperwork and such, everything looks good! Couple of very minor scuffs and such!!! It has the charleston fabric and the cherry cabinets!!
Scheduled pickup is saturday!! Can't wait!!!

I add the extra 4 feet for when the MIL is tied to the roof in her rocking chair.

Camped Memorial Day weekend and everything was great until hubby went to change the speakers and pushed the "A" button on the Genesis unit and the button pushed alllllll the way in.

It wasn't difficult to go from tent camping to this beautiful camper. I did remark at one point that I would never have brought fresh fruit with me when tent camping - the whole "cooler" issue was always a hassle. I didn't spend every waking moment inside, even when it rained on us on Sunday and was 86 and humid on Monday. Got to try the heat and the air conditioning on the same weekend!!! Welcome to Wisconsin!

Did notice that the upholstery on the couch was bunched up on one side on the back cushion, and being the picky person I am, I want it repaired.

So now it's back at the dealer. He's ordering us a new Genesis 3.0 stereo unit and sending the couch out to a local upholstery shop to get the stitching all fixed up. Other than those two minor issues, everything went super!!

We had full water and sewer hookups, but when we go in June for a week, we won't have either. That will take some getting used to....I have a feeling he's going to make me empty the "blue boy."

Does your unit have the Genesis 3.0 unit? I haven't been able to confirm from Bob Fields if this unit is, in fact, a Concertone unit or something else entirely.

I did take a bunch of photos (even set up the tripod!), but I haven't had a chance to download them yet. Tuesday & Wednesday were both golf nights, and last night we had to drop off the camper at our dealer. Maybe tonight.....

Did you camp in yours yet, and did you take any photos??
