Rockwood 8312 bunk rails

Well I wanted something that looked like the finish of the interior and not a store bought item. I'm not much of a wood worker but my son and I put these together.

Looks good and very functional. For sure will keep the young ones away from the floor during the night rest

The bunk above the couch, can you still lock that bunk in the up postion or do you have to remove the rail? I like the way them look, nice job!

So nice! I wish that was something that was standard in bunkhouses. Having a child fall out of a bunk once is enough to make one wary.

No I have to remove the rail.

Very glad I saw this. My daughter rolled out onto the lower bunk this past week. I will be doing this mod before our next trip.

I'm no wood worker but it was very simple. I will say the brass bolts and self anchoring nuts weren't cheap for what they are.
