This is the way we secure our doors so they don't open when we are traveling so they don't open when we are opening our slides..
If they open you can't see it until it's to late and it can rip your doors off.
Don't know what year your 8325SS is but ours is a 2016. We have different handles than what is shown in your picture. Maybe because of the problems you and others had they fixed it with better hardware. Ours take a little force just to pull them open. Maybe down the line as they age, this might become a problem. If it does I will just put new handles and hardware to secure a closed cabinet door.
Mine stay shut real tight also. But all it takes is something to move while traveling inside the cabinet and the door can come open.
The only bad problem is you can't see if one is open with the slides closed , especially the ones on the outer .
Hope the new handles help out.
Thanks for your insight. Never thought about something inside the cabinet forcing the door open while traveling. Better safe than sorry, will also insure that the doors stay closed while traveling. Thanks for the info.
Very true about "Hidden Doors" when slide is retracted! We had one open and when opening slide ripped the door Off! Only takes a second! We found "Spring Loaded/self closing hinges" at Lowes that were a exact replacement! Youroo!!
