If Yall just would buy a V-cross Platinum, you could just order a optional rack with plenty of capacity for bikes, generators, whatever.

This rack is listed for 250 lbs, and the frame is built accordingly. I personally think that the VCross Platinum is built stronger than some of the FR units, and I don't know why. My axles are 5200 GAWR each and the camper LOADED is 7600lbs - not including the pin.

And they really arn't that heavy. i was told that the VCross Platinum is built in the Goshen factory while the other Vcross and V front lite units are built elsewhere. You can't have your lite cake and carry everything to, safely that is.

Here is some pictures. I added the threaded rod to the bumper just for a little extra.

Interesting. On last week's bike rack thread, when I tried to say that if we put out pics and then tell someone not to do something, but we don't provide the DETAILS, it's "disingenuous," I got all kinds of grief (until ependydad shut down the thread). Now Old Coot says if you don't provide the details (trailer type, rack type), we can't comment.

I'm sensing a bit of a double standard on this forum.

albuilder, my post wasn't aimed at you. {But I'll probably take another load of grief for it.)
