Rockwood ceiling height compared to Heritage Glen

Is the Rockwood ceiling height 80"? And is that at the top of the curve or sides? I also had a Heritage Glen rep tell me that theirs are 78" but I didn't know if this was the wall or top of the arch. For both of these rvs being fairly "higher end" travel trailers they certainly don't have super tall ceilings. I'm a tall guy so every inch makes a difference!

Thank you!

Well all this depends on what models you are talking about and if they are fifth wheels or travel trailers. Please provide more information.

Thank you for the reply!

I'm just talking about normal new travel trailers. I'm trying to find something with 80"+ of ceiling height in a travel trailer. Those 78" ceilings feel a little claustrophobic for me.

I am 6'4 and have a Heritage Glen. I can't for the life of me remember how tall my roof is, but I know that I never duck and walk around confident that I won't hit my head.

Hope that helps

I think the only way to really get a trailer that is 80" or taller is to go with a 5th wheel. They have 85" ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom areas and even taller in the living and kitchen areas. But I had a Flagstaff V-lite and can honestly say I did not have any problems with the height of the ceilings, even in the shower.

I just went out and measured our 2504s. It's 80' in the center and tapers to 78' at the edge. This is of course on thr inside. There is nothing in the middle hanging down to make it less than 80'. Jay

Thank you!

I'm definitely leaning to a Rockwood at this point because it looks like they are probably constructed a little better than just about anything else out there.

Yea the more I look into trailers the more I wish I had a 5th wheel for the height but I couldn't pull a good-sized 5th wheel with my pickup.

I'm 6' 0" and it's good to see other people say they can still take showers in the Rockwoods/Flagstaff travel trailers. There's nothing worse than those tiny travel trailer bathtubs when you are over 6' tall.
