Rockwood Floor construction

Does anyone know when FR went back to the plywood flooring system instead of the luan sandwich? The 2018 brochure indicates plywood, but 2017 does not mention it.

This is exactly what I was told by the factory.

I will say I've seen 'photos' of what was being billed as a 2017 on the internet that had the plywood floor so maybe there were some very late 2017's that had it too. Again, this was looking at information on the'net. I did not verify in person.

Brochures are NOT reliable for Info! They always have a Fine Print Disclaimer! Now for 1st hand actually "Seeing/Touching" the floors at the Rockwood plant # 10 on August of 2017 the Floors were 5/8 T & G plywood! Can't speak about the other Plants where Other Models are made! Youroo!!

In the front storage compartment I could pull up the linoleum a little and see. Also what really proved it was when I took out a panel in the compartment that was protecting some wiring and the gas line for the outside grill. The gas line comes up through the floor and the plywood is clearly seen there.

Exact time may probably be different depending on brand (i.e., plant built).

Remove the Front access panel from the Shower they remove "Vinyl/5/8 plywood/insulation/black membrane to make room for the Drain Trap! It shows it all, also gives the owner a chance to see if the shower pan is supported "Properly"! Youroo!!
