Rockwood Mini Lite 2104s/why no Murphy Bed?

Anyone no why the Murphy Bed is not an option on the 2104s Mini Lite? Could it be ordered during construction?

I'd guess yes, it could be a special order. We have a 2011 model 2304. At the time we ordered in 2010, the 'standard' build was with a Murphy bed. Ours was built with the in-place bed and storage area underneath - which has now become standard, with the Murphy bed as optional. We were able to get it built customized working with RV Wholesalers, located in Lakeview, OH.

The reason we wanted the in-place bed was the storage. Built with the standing bed, there is the great pass-thru storage, which comes in very handy. The Murphy bed design has very little storage.

Good luck!

Thanks for your information. It's hard to believe that the Murphy Bed is not offered as a lot of people are looking to get the most room out of these small trailers.

the Murphy bed eliminates most of your outside storage. Not sure its worth it to lose. I had 7 people comfortably in my camper (flagstaff version) recently and it was comfortable.

After putting hoses, electrical cords, chocks, chairs, levelers and other assorted odds and ends.. I don't think i could possible camp without that storage. Well I could, but everything i needed would be loaded in the back of my truck

I would be willing to give up the under storage area, due to my tow vehicle has a camper shell. I can see why others would need the extra storage too. My wife and I wanted to buy one last year and decided to wait till the 2015's came out, hoping for the Murphy bed option. Thanks for your info.

The 2104s and Flagstaff 21DS (same trailer) now have a murphy bed option; you can see them on several dealer websites such as Keystone. I priced one at RV Direct.

Although you lose the option of pass- through storage with the Murphy bed, there is still plenty of storage under the bed, accessible from inside the trailer by lifting the couch cushion.

The very latest models have a pass through, though a constricted one passing under the couch.

I bought one without the Murphy Bed and I'm very happy with it. The 2015 are really nice.
