Rockwood mini lite 2306 panel broke separating water pump

The panel that separates under bunk storage from water pump and bypass valves broke off its so flimsy I am afraid something is going to fly in there and break something has anyone done a modification to fix this? I can't imagine these panels would last long anyway they are only attached by a small strip of wood with staples and two screws?

Pic? A couple of overall compartment ones showing the partition in it's place would be great.

I have a 2007 2306.

Agreed. There are a few locations that have the same separator. Under both the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink have it as well.

I found that flimsy panel. Not really sure what they have it screwed into either. doesn't seem very strong. I was looking to strengthen it as well. There are a few others i have found. the same divider

I pulled the screws out and put in studs on my panel that gets you to the pump and hot water tank ect. This makes it easy to take it off to do maintaince, reach the valves ect. I found a lot of panels like this all over the trailer. Very "lightweight" LOL. I have also reinforced all the shelves for this reason. Jay

I was thinking on installing a net or some similar. Removed mine and I lay the power cord and water hose. So far they stay put.

My other idea was to hinge the door.

I do agree, that is a stupid design idea to secure/separate a compartment.

Those panels (water heater, under sinks...) are just for looks and really offer no protection. I have removed them from the last couple of trailers and never had a problem.
