Yes, there is a lot of storage space, just not in the kitchen area. The wardrobe in the bathroom is huge, as is the pass-thru compartment, and there are plenty of places to put smaller items. The dealer is replacing/installing the missing switches - or we won't accept delivery. We are picking it up in 2 weeks, after some mods (and those all-important switches) are done on it.

Has anyone installed the slide toppers/shades? Are they necessary/worth it?

What about vent covers-thoughts on that?
How about create a breeze fan...any upgrades on the fans?? necessary?
Thanks!

these are all highly recommended additions, especially when ordering from the factory.
cause it'll cost a lot more to add them after you've picked up the rig.

i know because i didn't do that, i bought mine off the lot and it didn't have a slidetopper or vent covers. i soon found out why most people have these.
cost me about 3x what they would've cost as added options.

ours was a long topper, i think about 14' long and i think the total price from CW, was close to $500. was a Dometic topper. it's the shipping costs that'll kill you if they don't stock it.

We had the slide topper installed on our current camper, and feel it was well worth it. Cost was about $600 or so, including labor, if memory serves, and I think it should be similar now (we are having it done on the new Rockwood). On the 2013 there is a ceiling fan (not sure which brand) in the bathroom, but just a regular vent over the bed; we are having a Fantastic Fan added there, and MaxxAir vent covers over both vents. We had those added to our current camper as well and have LOVED them.
