Can I join in?
We added a new faucet, a drum light over the dinette, replaced the door “knob” on the bathroom door with a door lever that matches the reach in pantry door and replaced the toilet with a Dometic 310.

Can you provide a source for the drum light? Is it a shade over the existing light, or a complete replacement?

It’s a complete replacement, specifically for 12V applications. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We just did these mods yesterday, and completed them right before dinner, so pardon the table being down, but here’s another look at the drum light...
As you can see, we don’t have it hanging down at all, but it’s flush to the ceiling. There’s a screw that attaches the shade to the unit and it’s too short to have the shade extended from the ceiling. It can easily be replaced with a longer screw if you prefer that look, but we like it like this.

I'm guessing that you meant this message for me? Here's a picture/diagram.
This stabilizer works fantastically! And is easy/cheap to build.

Seems there is never enough storage. I built a couple of shelves to hold small items in the kitchen and above the window near the entry door.
And these Harbor Freight lights are in every storage compartment.

Hello, how did you support the shelving over the windows? my lights keep falling and i h ad command hooks inside my storage compartments and they dont stay on either. seems they dont like adhering to plain wood,, or its the heat and humidity?

Predrilled four holes in the back support of the shelf. Added a few strips of 3m VHB tape to the back of the shelf then screwed the shelf to the wall. Important part....the screws are just long enough to go through the interior wall panel.
On the compartment lights I used two small screws to hold the light in place. Doing that allows the light to slide up and off if you need to change batteries. Hope the back of your light is similar to mine.

Moral: Man up, use screws.
I use screws and foam tape for cushion...usually. I was testing a location for the paper towel holder and time marched on and suddenly the "wallpaper" was pulling away. I'd rather have a tiny hole than pulled wallpaper. Screws it is.

Is this light brighter than the original one? They are so dim, they're almost not useful.
Thanks
