Short Queen Topper

We found a 4" (2" foam/2" pillow top) at Camping World on sale for $129. Great reviews and looks like it will be just right. Will be testing on an outing next week.

We got a short queen topper at Goshen two years ago. It is really comfortable.

We have the 2502S that has the short queen bed. I cut off the 2 inch topper but wished I hadn't. I could have put the extra at the pillow end, pushed the mattress down a bit and had a longer mattress. Would have put some kind of rolled up foam under the pillow end to support the topper. I have a slide and it doesn't affect it at all. It is a little more difficult to lift up the bed for the storage underneath but well worth the extra length. Also, our Mini Lite was shown as having a double sized bed and it is a queen size. Not sure if former owners changed it out or not. It hangs over each side by about 2 inches but not a big deal.
I also shortened my bottom sheet by making a tuck in it at the top and fastened it with safety pins. Makes the sheet fit the mattress better and I didn't pay extra for the short bed sheets.
All kinds of ways to make things comfortable!!

Keep in mind memory foam holds the heat. Not good in summer. A couple of inches of furniture type foam on top of the memory foam is ideal. electric knife does do the best job. I used to work for the memory foam manufacturer/ inventor.

I have the 21DS. You have plenty of room. I did a 3 inch foam topper.

We have a 3" regular queen on our 2109S. We kept it full length as it helps the standard queen sheets fit better.

We previously had a 4" in our last trailer on a smaller bed, I wish we would have gone with the 4" on the 2109S but its not a huge difference.

I was very concerned about the heat from the toppers made of foam and decided to buy a nice, soft, cool, quilted bamboo mattress pad. This has worked out perfectly -- my husband is also happy with the comfort in our 2109S.

Also, no problem with the slide or the extra length on the short queen mattress.
