Rockwood travel trailers

My Husband and I are thinking of buying a Rockwood. However when we looked at them we were alittle disappointed in the cabinentry. The shelves were papper thin. and stappled. Anyone have problems with them? We are also wondering about the frameing and general info about how people liked them or any other problems?
Thanks Kim

We have a flagstaff that is the sister to rockwood. We love ours and have had no problems with it. We have had no sturcture issues with our unit and have pulled it over 3000 miles in the past 3 months and we are happy.

Short and sweet the only problem we have had is "owner caused" and we love the trailer.

My buddy has a 2004 Rockwood. He's spent the last two years fulltiming. From FL, he's been up the East coast into Canada, and out West to Oregon. I was so impressed by how well his rig is holding up, I bought a smaller version (same brand).

You'll find weight saving construction techniques in most RVs. My last one was a 36' Class A. The cabinets were of no better construction. The rig was 6 years old when I sold it. I lived in it for over a year.

Think you'll find with some research, the Forest River Rockwood trailers have a better reputation than most.
