thanks for your help….after emailing Dometic I have found out the 300 series does not have a replacement toilet seat

we will have to try and find some rubber bumpers to put on the underside of the TERRIBLE plastic seat.

So if anyone is purchasing a new trailer be sure you do not get the Dometic 300 toilet…live and learn

We have the Dometic 300 series toilet..works great BUT the seat is CHEAP plastic and very noisy and uncomfortable…just found out there is not wooden replacement seat for this model….be sure you get a 310 or better toilet.
There is a regular toilet seat available for this model.

This is our second week in the unit. Mostly good! Would be nice to have light switch at entry. You need to go in to the panel to turn on light. We had an outlet added to the other side of the bed. Will keep you posted on our living experience!

Because there isn't a "good" place for one. You can stop looking.

It sits on the floor next to the converter panel. That puts it between the oven and the fridge. It looks nice and is the perfect size. We set it so the narrow end (where the pedal is) faces the sofa.
We haven't tripped over or bumped into it yet.
In case you're wondering about the two panels under the TV/desk, your woofer is behind the right one. Plumbing behind the left.

We are a Flagstaff 26RLWS owner and agree with the versatility and functionality of the floor plan. We too agree with the need for more electrical outlets. You won't be sorry!!

We picked up our Rockwood 2604WS today. I had them replace the toilet with a dometic 320. Our old trailer had the 300, it's way too small and flimsy.

The 320 fits nicely in the new trailer and will be so much nicer.

Enjoy! Wish we had known to ask for a different toilet…I did get clear, thin tubing, slit it and slid it over the plastic braces. Much quieter. The plastic braces were already chipping…A call to Dometic and they are sending out a replacement seat…

Alas, our dealer was not the best. (understatement!)
We had already decided on the 2604ws and went to the local dealer. We knew more about the unit than they did.

And by the time out unit arrived the salesman and the manager were no longer working there. When we were at dealer getting some things for the road we mentioned a possible problem and were told…you can find a dealer somewhere on the road.Not very helpful….

We are almost three weeks on the road and learning the tricks and managing spaces as we go….

Since there are lots of Rockwood 2604WS and Flagstaff 26RLWS owners contributing to this thread, I have a question for you all. As my signature says, we are between campers and trying to find our next one. We saw a 2604WS at a local dealer and liked it except for the idea of having to move one of the recliners around to close the slide out. Capt. Mike noted this as a con. I have developed a lower back problem so moving a recliner, especially lifting it, presents a problem for me. What is everyone doing with the recliner next to the slide? It looks like the switch for the slide is on the upper cabinet facing the couch so wherever you put it, you need to be able to access that panel.

We have removed one of the chairs since my wife would prefer to sit on the sofa. I have put felt pads on the feet of the chair and just slide it over by the door when the slide is in. There is room to slide the second chair in front of the door so you don't have to stack them. It does block the door but you can enter from the bedroom and still reach the panel.

Before we removed one, my wife (who does the inside work) used to stack and lash down both of the chairs; the chairs aren't heavy.

We put the two chairs side by side in front of the door…fit perfectly. We use the bedroom door when slides not open…

Mostly pleased with the 2604ws…suggest you add an outlet in the bedroom..we had one added on the side of the "nightstand" (under the narrow closet…)

Also suggest create a breeze fan for all vents...

We are currently removing the "wallpaper" border….
(actually contact paper…yuck!) Brightens up the place. Where it was on the wall was very poor proportionally ….Looks much better, will post pics when all the glue removed…my suggestion is to order with out the border.

Interested in the border removal. We ordered the Flagstaff 26 RLWS but my wife hates the border. WE didn't know you could order it without. Would like to hear how easily it comes off and see pictures.

I never thought to ask about leaving the border off….

So, I started to remove it….was very disappointed to discover it is contact paper and not wall paper…(even more reason to remove it)

Heat it with a hair dryer and it will pull of relatively easily …. you may need to cut with razor knife at trim….removing is the easy part.

There will be adhesive residue…GooBeGone seemed to work the best…requires multiple applications…just keep wiping and rubbing, use small rags...I also used a plastic putty knife to scrape the excess adhesive as the GooBeGone softened it….

When the glue was all removed I cleaned the area with Dawn dish liquid.

It is so worth the effort….!

Just curious when your camper was built. My wife was hoping to remove the border as soon as it arrives from the factory. She thought maybe if it's not on very long it will be easier to remove.

The unit arrived in July 2014….it is a 2015…

This is our first outing so just getting used to where things belong and such…
AND getting rid of the border….the fact that it is contact paper makes it even more important to make it go way asap…

really brightens things up and makes it easier to decorate and make it your own!

While on this model, does anyone know what the true cargo capacity is? Web and print says around 1500# but I have been reading that yellow sticker on units are now showing less than 800#. Also has anyone weighed yours loaded to see how much weight you are carrying in cargo?
