Are you saying that the OE installed at the Factory MaxAir Vent Covers are "Leaking" or the Vent Lids?Youroo!!

boxfordhp,

We also have a 2018 Rockwood 2618VS (tow vehicle 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 dbl cab) using a Reese dual cam wd hitch.
And also have been experiencing some serious sway during highway speeds.

I am on my 3rd hitch adjustment - need to test drive.

Have you discovered the magic dual cam hitch set up to eliminate or minimize hi-speed sway?

I am worried that my 1/2 ton truck is not suitable (although rated for 9200lbs).

thanks,
Jeff

JeBa, boxford hasn't posted on the Forum since their post, over a year ago.
So they may no longer be here to read your post.

The one piece of advice I can provide you is to know what layout you want and what you can live with and without.

Once you have firmed that up, finding the right trailer for the price you are willing to pay is much easier.

In my opinion, Rockwoods are more of a premium brand because of their quality.

5 months later, to me, its still the god of all trailers - compared to what we have seen at trailers shows and our own resort where we stay during the summer.

Good Luck!

Cheers,
Bob

We had the 2618W Windjammer, 2015 year model, diamond edition. Kept it 4 yrs and just sold it, now have a 5th wheel. Ours was ok, the TV mounted above the table was hard to view, when we took the Grand Kids they had the Air Matt pull out bed, hope they changed that on the new models. We took the seal off the walk in style shower door, never leaked on the floor with the seal off the glass door. With the seal on the door it was hard to open/close. V-nose really did not help much with gas mileage. Had the 4 point sway control hitch, overall we liked the unit.
